ORGAN INFO

Central’s organ was built in 1930 by the E. M. Skinner Pipe Organ Company (Opus 776) and was completely restored in 1997.

The instrument is composed of 40 ranks (sets) of pipes and is placed in the chambers on either side of the chancel and in the balcony at the rear of the sanctuary.

It is the only Skinner pipe organ in Louisville. Watch the video on this page to explore the organ with Director of Music Phillip Morgan and Owen Sammons.
