Ann grew up in the Pacific Northwest and lived in California, New Jersey, and Maryland before she heard about a terrific congregation situated in an urban neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. She joined the pastoral staff of Central Church in 1996. Ann received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Seattle Pacific University, a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, a Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction and Doctor of Ministry from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Her doctoral work was focused on ways congregations can encourage and support families (of all shapes and sizes) as incubators for spiritual life. Being from Seattle, Ann naturally gravitates toward a good cup of coffee. She is happy hiking the trails of Kentuckiana, reading cookbooks and digging in the garden.

Phillip Morgan has served as Director of Music at Central Presbyterian Church in Louisville, KY since 2012. He has had the privilege of leading the choir at the Presbyterian Youth Triennium, being a member of the Montreat Worship and Music Conference planning team and looks forward to beginning his service on the Presbyterian Association of Musicians executive board. Both a conductor and a singer, Phillip currently sings with the Louisville Chamber Choir and has been a featured soloist with the Louisville Orchestra, the Choral Arts Society, and a studio artist with the Kentucky Opera.

Barbara started working at Central in August 2016. She retired after teaching middle school for 25 years followed by a year as a middle school librarian. In her free time, Barbara enjoys doing things with and for her thirteen grandchildren.
